How do I transfer songs from Ares to an Ipod, without using itunes?

    If you want to do it via limewire it is simple. First download iTunes. Then go to limewire.Go to the top left corner. Press Tools. Then press iTunes. (on Limewire.) Then click ‘apply’. Go to your iTunes now. Go to ____’s Limewire Tunes. And now you can sync your songs to your iPod! As simple as that. I hope this wasn’t al too confusing. :P

    First off, you’d have to convert the music to mp4 – though there are many free programs that transcode media (only get from the publisher or from a reliable source like download.com).

    Next – why can’t you get iTunes on your PC? It’s not a difficult program to install.

    technically, you don’t get music from Ares and/or LW to your iPod. You get MP3 files that you downloaded to your computer using those programs – and all mp3 files are transferred to an iPod the same way, through iTunes.

    If you’re having problems installing iTunes, post specifics instead of trying to end-run using it.
